oh I'll just have one more
It's a well known fact that I hate birthdays. I have never really understood them. What is one supposed to be celebrating, a year closer to the grave? I know I know, I should lighten up (as they say)But I see the diggers waiting. So this year, after years of hiding under the pillow or something like a pillow, I have decided to take this situation head on and do what I do best, NO NO NO not creating art...DRINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!Im really enjoying my birthday now (or rather the champagne) So maybe it's not so bad after all.....It will be lunch soon, maybe Ill have another glass. 'Happy birthday Philip'.. ' you're welcome'.

P.S. The photo above makes no sense at all but drinking and being creative never sat with me very well..unlike most artists...

Well I, for just one, am quite happy you were born--46 years ago? You've given us all much to think about through your words, art, movies--and all the many other ways you are creative. I wish you many more--and I wish that absolutely selfishly.

thank you darling...that was very sweet of you to say.....
Did you tell your female fan club you were 46?
Come on!
no, its all over the place...im 153
Now that I have read your blog....I totally understand...ah, but I know I look at birthdays as kind of a New Year...where anything can and does happen...I used to hate my birthday...but then why celebrate any holiday that is just another one that is closer to "deathday" so with each reminder you get of it being your birthday...we are all just saying we are so glad you are here...and there will be many more of them to come...Happy Birthday Philip...big kisses...and yes...it is perfectly fine to hate the day...we adore the man.
Well you are right ..I suppose I hate that its all about me...I love other peoples birthdays...xx
